Global Engagement

A small group of Christians along Colorado’s Front Range is using WhatsApp and Zoom to virtually meet with groups of young people in several middle eastern countries for the purpose of hearing and learning from native English speakers, while actually fishing for men and women who might be open to hearing about the Gospel. Most of us are just like you, not traditional teachers, but everyday Christians who want to help influence others to hear God’s Word by talking about how He works in our lives, by praying, and by demonstrating Christ’s desire for us to help others. You don’t need to be an expert in language or Islam or theology. Tutoring, training, and ongoing consultation is readily available from others who have been doing this for awhile and from the teachers and missionaries among us. Several of us meet regularly on Zoom or in person to pray, to talk about situations that come up, and to share training opportunities. You can choose your own level of time commitment.

We are breaking ground on a transformation center in South Asia where young, on-fire Christ-followers will undergo intensive training that will equip them to venture out to villages in an effort to share the Gospel with those who have never heard the name of Jesus Christ. These individuals plant an average of 3-7 churches apiece. We’ve raised an initial $65,000 for this project and are in the process of raising $35,000 more.

The Colombian church plant halted construction during the pandemic but they continue to meet in local homes with families and children, leading others to Christ and providing help when needs arise.

FCLC helped plant The Holiness Church in Ecuador which provides schooling for 200 children and affects the lives of over 2,000 people in the community. FCLC members continue to sponsor Compassion children at this site in Ecuador.

Harmony Life International is an organization that seeks to be a light in the darkness by bringing hope, healing, and love to hurting people. Their music and arts ministry plays an important role by building individuals’ self-esteem and nourishing their hearts and souls. They also help teach the locals general skills and have built houses for them as well.
